What house rules should an Airbnb have?
Most hosts cover quiet hours, the number of guests, smoking, pets, parties, parking and check-in and checkout times. Add a rule only when it protects your place, your neighbors or the next guest.
Where do I add house rules on Airbnb?
In your listing settings under house rules. Guests see them before they book. Repeat them in your house manual or digital guidebook so guests can find them during the stay.
What house rules are not allowed on Airbnb?
Airbnb's house rules policy asks for rules that are reasonable. A rule should not stop guests from using an amenity the listing offers, and checkout tasks should be light. The details change now and then. Check the current policy in Airbnb's Resource Center.
How do I get guests to follow house rules?
Keep the list short, give a reason when it is not obvious and put the rules where guests look during their stay. A friendly tone works better than warnings about fines.
Can I ban pets in my rental?
Yes, you can set a no-pets rule. On Airbnb, service animals do not count as pets. The rule does not apply to them. In some places, emotional support animals must be accepted too. Airbnb's Help Center lists where.
Can I fill in this house rules template online?
